Happy New Year, everyone! We at Team Reqless hope you have survived the holidays with your sanity intact(ish)... and all of your limbs! We hope your fat pants served you well; ours sure did though that is nothing new because we love food... and booze.
Team Reqless is comprised of two student-loan crippled, single moms with nothing to lose. We have been through hell and back, and seen more than our share of crazy... so much so, that we have nothing to lose by starting our own blog (and soon to come podcast) about the things we have seen in life, the things we have read and the films we have watched, and how it all fits in to the problem of what society calls the "human condition." Since we really do not care about what others think, our blog (soon to come podcast) will reflect our "nothing to lose," laissez faire attitude about all subject matter. While we will, certainly, try to be as PC as we possibly can, we do acknowledge that there are some topics that simply provoke laughter regardless of their heavy nature. Since we have nothing to lose, and this is our blog (soon to come podcast) and not yours, we simply have little regard to those opinions which are caustic, counterproductive, or those who cannot (read: refuse) see things from all angles (i.e. who lack an open-minded nature). That being said, we do want to encourage healthy conversation, and openly welcome feedback and critique with the caveat: if we don't like it, we don't care, and we won't feel obligated to respond... and we will probably make fun of your statements via "anecdotes."
This blog is meant to be a fun(ny) exploration of the horrific, grotesque, and the strange as manifested in the reflexive mediums we communally engage in while on this journey called life. We do hope that you will follow us as we explore the things we find humorous in the horrific, grotesque, and strange... drink with us, laugh with us, and find the humorous in all you see and do. We hope to share more than a 1000 Stories with you, drink more than our share of great drinks both alcoholic or not, and have triple the laughs of all combined.
